What do you think of the 2012 olympics logo? Personally, I hate it and I think a lot of people on this forum could have designed something much more attractive however, it might be just me so I thought I'd see what others thought.
It's the whole tacky graffiti look which I don't like... it doesn't really support anything the olympics stands for nor does it immediatly show what the olmypics is. From this, I'd probably assume it's some sort of art competition (if I didn't know).
Its a swasticker taken apart and re aranged
D:
Have you seen the thing the BBC were doing (the show us your own thing)
There was on that was pulled after 5 mins of it being on there site ill try and find it, it was lulz
That is horrible, Really if they say thats been done by professionals most people on this forum could do better with paint, blindfolded and with only 30 seconds to draw.
I think the public should get to enter then decide which logo wins.
Apparently it cost about £400,000 to research and develop and everything - I think it's a terrible logo. Sure, the games aren't based up the logo - but the brand of the Olympics is used to promote it, and the aim of the 2012 Olympics was to try and introduce the younger generation into sports and get them interested into sports. I don't think this logo does it at all and I think it's a shame that public opinion wasn't even considered before-hand (afterall it is for the public).
The BBC had people send in their own logos, and there were 2 or 3 of them which I felt represented the Olympics in a much better way than this (and they didn't cost a penny to make or develop). Here is my favourite:
It's clever, well presented and gets the point across that this will be the 2012 London Olympics. While the real logo itself looks like a load of jigsaw pieces with the word London just thrown in. I'm quite dissapointed.
That logo is by far the most hideous, most thrown together piece of garbage that has ever been created by human hands. I would personally sue the person who made it for even thinking of the idea for making that. It looks like someones 2 year old child, cut out and glued pieces of construction paper together. I would of done it for free.
I personally think it is a very ugly looking logo, not appealing at all
A statement from the creators of the logo and 2012 officials stated it wouldn't be changed because of public opinion. I feel sorry that the 2012 Olympics will have such garbage as a logo. It looks like something from an online graffiti generator...
Flava, that logo is so much better I can't put it into words, hehe. I wish they'd have chosen that... but apparently our opinions won't change anything.
I seen it on the news.
I don't like it at all, i got make a better one in Paint.
Ewww, that looks like someone got a pink square and hammered it into the ground. The one Flava posted is really nice.
