Im considering starting to attempt creating some pixel art, website layouts and general design work. Can anyone reccomend any good programs that i dont have to spend money on just while i start?

MS Paint, believe it or not many professionals find Paint to be really easy to use while still keeping their work as professional as possible it's also very good for amateurs.

Graphics Gear is a good tool for pixel artists, but try MS paint for now.
