Hello members!

YanzCity is currently focused on the development of V1 of the game. This means we no longer have any need for our beta client which some of you may have been fortunate enough to test. So today we are announcing that the complete client and server source of YanzCity Beta will be available for purchase to whomever makes the most reasonable offer.

All offers should be sent via personal message to this forum account. We will aim to reply to let you know if your offer is the highest or whether you have been outbid. This sale will end on Wednesday the 21st of July 2011 at midnight.

Please note that the art used within this client is not for sale, you are purchasing the client and server source. The client is written in AS3 and the server uses SmartFoxServer 1.6.6 - you will be receiving the server extension written in Java. Database tables and all appropriate dependencies will be included as well as a 1 time set up of the complete product. This purchase is provided as-is, although this has been extensively tested, we are not responsible for any future corrective, adaptive or perfective maintenance.

Below is a full list of features, commands and a few in-game images.

Features:-
  • 4 directional isometric walking
  • Talking (works similar to Bittybay/Habbo/Lasuni etc)
  • Sitting
  • Room switching
  • Supports an unlimited number of public rooms, this purchase includes 5 ready made rooms. (Please note that the room art is not included with this purchase)
  • A* Pathfinding
  • Chat log (players can use the /log command to open and close instead of clicking the Log button)
  • User nametags which appear above a player's head when you hover your mouse over them
  • Staggered maps (rooms can be the size of the entire client/doesn't have to be a simple diamond map)
  • Flood protection in chat (administrators/moderators are exempt from this restriction)
  • Ranks (normal player, moderator, administator)
  • Banning (players can be banned for a set time or forever, a message can be also be set stating reason for their ban)
  • Kicking (kicks the user from the server, they can still log back in)
  • Player's appear in the same room where they logged out from.
  • Very basic clothes system (can only be modified via database at the moment)
  • Slopes/stairs and elevated tiles
  • Everything is stored in a MySQL database (users, room details etc)
  • Icon appears above a player's head to indicate they are typing.
  • Chat bar input box is always in focus. This means that as soon as the actual client has focus, the text box for speech will be immediately selected so you don't have to worry about constantly clicking before typing.

Commands:-
  • /ban (username) (time in hours/forever) (reason) - Bans a player
  • /kick (username) (reason) - Kicks a player from the server
  • /mute (username) - Mutes a player
  • /unmute (username) - Unmutes a player
  • /muteroom - Mutes the entire room from which the command was sent, administrators/moderators can still talk
  • /unmuteroom - Unmutes the room
  • /alertcity (message) - Sends an alert message to everyone in game
  • /alertroom (message) - Send an alert message to the room from which the command was sent
  • /hide - Fun little extra that lets administrators/moderators turn invisible to players but appears semi-transparent to other administrators/moderators. This is saved in the database so if you log off/change rooms you will stay hidden
  • /show - Reverts the actions of the /hide command

Why are you having it on a countdown? If it sells it sells, if it doesn't it doesn't. You have more chance of selling it by leaving the offer open. I sold one of my clients a few months after I made the thread

Was this created using Flash Professional or FlashDevelop?

Also, would the .fla or .as3proj (depending on what it was created with) be included as well?

This project was built using FlashDevelop and the .as3proj file is included along with every other source file required to allow the software to function correctly.
