Hey I'm looking for experienced people who know how to work with ActionScript and Macromedia, Also hiring staff to help me develop and moderate Social Studios.

I'm also looking for donations, the more money we have, the more faster it will get done and the better it will be, contact me via PM to donate, or apply for a staff position.

To apply for staff position, please tell me how you would be able to help me out and what you can do for Social Studios.

What Social Studios will be

Social Studios is a game designed for anybody 13 years of age or older. It is a richly colorful, multi-dimensional virtual community and social game to which users join by creating a fully customized online character called a V-ego. From there, explore wide variety of spaces and rooms created by other users in the virtual community, create their own music and have other V-egos rate their music, connect with friends, decorate rooms and have fun through creativity and self expression.

Entering Social Studios is free, but to access premium services users need to buy SS Credits, which is the virtual world’s currency. Credits are used to pay for virtual furniture and special privileges, for example, more clothes to wear on their V-ego than the others. Virtual furniture in particular is an important factor in most SS V-egos lives within the community, allowing them to express themselves through the creation of theme-styled rooms, militaries, casinos, game rooms, trade rooms and hang out rooms.

The more registrations we have at Social Studios, the more people find out what they want to accomplish in the game, whether it’s a high reputation, be in charge of a military, own a famous super rare casino, or have a lot of rare furniture.
They get addicted to the game and they spend more money for the virtual currency to achieve their wishes for the game.

No offence but you might as well replace everything related to Social Studios with Habbo and it'd be something exactly the same as habbo.

What am I saying? The idea is too Habbo alike in the sense of this -

the more people find out what they want to accomplish in the game, whether it’s a high reputation, be in charge of a military, own a famous super rare casino, or have a lot of rare furniture.

It's something I'd expect to see on Habbo.

Good luck with your project!

Coke music and Habbo clone, no offence. Business wise it won't work, I doubt you'll find any willing developers to create a clone either. We (as in developers) like originality and something to motivate us. Not to mention the grammar mistakes ("more faster") and lack of information about staff positions. Will they be paid?

I kinda, like this idea, but I'm with fatman1, whats the point of a clone, when there's a real one.

Not a clone of habbo, we are going to be a unique game similar to how cokemusic used to be but a lot more games to win prizes, events, etc.
We will develop the game in our own imagination of what we want it to look like, we will not copy anybody or anything.

Coke music got shut down, so I'm not "cloning" anyone, and if your just a troll, then leave. Lol.
Don't support me, then leave. I'll do what I want to do. Mhm thanks.

You have a perfect attitude to run an MMO. I'm not a troll, I'm being serious. Think about the business side of things. Nobody wants to work for promises that you probably won't meet, trust me, I've been in this business for years. You come here, make a thread about creating an MMO with no originality or business plan and then expect to receive only support?

I'm here to give you the cold, hard facts about running and creating an MMO, I've tried many times in the past to start one up myself - resulting in it closing not soon after due to no originality or business plan. Now I code them for people, for money. You are not promising money, because you might not make any.

Wasn't going to mention this, but grammar plays a crucial role - especially in hiring. Your grammar really isn't good, there are many mistakes in the thread and some in the post above.

Take my advice or throw money and time down the drain, hey, it's your life after all.

Like you SocialStudios, I started up at MF as someone who wanted a game. I was not fond of money at the time and my order to pay the developers was I now say ridiculous. Like Fatman1 stated, MMOs aren't a walk in the park. It, I admit is an exciting journey to create one, let alone be proud of being the owner of one. Without my developer Calum and designer Marc who put hardcore ideas and 'hope' into the project, I'd be a Habbo Clone.

There should be a few around this community (not to name any) who will criticize you, but trust me; using that criticism creates a better YOU and overall a better project. Fatman1 is not a troll, he is someone here who is here to give advice.

If you want your OWN mmo, you're going to need to think about what you want, who you're targeting (age range) and lastly the consumer's wants. These can all be summed up in a feedback form, but before you 'fish' for ideas - Write a business plan stating ideas and interests of your own.

I hope you become successful, just don't knock yourself down with the small criticism you may receive. Use it constructively.
