Well I've always wondered if owning a PTC site was profitable, I've been doing quite a bit of research lately and I have come to the conclusion that I would try it out and see if I can actually make some sort of revenue with PTC.

I designed the logo myself, not the greatest I know but I needed something. As for the design of the actual site, well it's costing me $25.00 a month to license the script which also includes DDoS protected hosting and came with a free domain. So hopefully I will generate enough revenue to keep the site going. I don't expect to make much within the first couple months as it's hard to get things like this going with no users.

There are no ads yet because how do I get people to purchase ads when there are no users to click them? I could promote a couple free ads and loose a bit of money which is no big deal but when I have more then 2 members it will be a bit easier to promote the site.

Don't think it's easy to get profit out of your bux site, especially in the beginning. You're not really going to get users without investing in own ads so they can start clicking and have a reason to join and stay.

Aside from that, here's an example of your incoming and outgoing cash flow. It's pretty extreme (lots of premium considered to the standard) but it's very possible.

Days to finish 500 clicks for 3 ads: 500 / 21 = 23.8

Total payments after 23.8 days: $57.477

Total profit: $2.523

Then every 30 days you've got another $25 for your host, leaving you behind with loss.

Just saying, it's not easy to get real profit, especially with your current rates. And you can't really highen them up (yet), 'cause you have no user base and you have a lot of competition.

Yeah, starting off is always hard but it's like that for most websites. I'm not expecting to make any kind of income within the first couple of months, I'm actually quite positive I'm going to be taking a couple losses but once the user base builds up I have a few friends that own PTC sites and one with 3,000 Members he makes roughly $100 every 2 days..

Yea, it just needs some investing before you can start earning. It probably is more difficult now to get bigger though, due to all the known scams around bux sites and the competition. But once it gets rolling, it could be quite nice. You of course get the profit as well out of the people who don't reach the payout minimum, which wasn't taken in my rough calculation.

You can always go to other PTC sites like onBux and pay them to host you as an ad. I've seen many PTC ads on onBux when I click them.

Just pay people to register then get your ads with the new user-base. XD
