Climate Change

I'm not too sure why people don't believe in it although it differentiates in other parts of the world. A town I live in within QLD, Australia is constantly changing it's weather patterns, so much that the weather watchers seem to always have trouble predicting the weather.

Here is some things I recall as strange weather patterns.

Day Morning - Sunny.
Day Morning Tea - Slightly Overcast
Day Afternoon - Slight drizzle
Day Afternoon (A little while after) - Drizzle + Sun
Night Evening - Slight Fog
Midnight - Fog until early in the morning.

Is this strange?
Because all weather patterns seem to change :S

So I guess my summarized question is..

Do you believe in climate change and why so/not?

I believe in it because the majority of Scientists say it exists and I am not a Scientist. Any other opinion from a "non Scientist" I personally believe to be ignorant.

Of course it's real. But it isn't our fault. Climate change has been happening in a cycle for millions of years, the ice age, then it melted, then it froze again ect. Nothing new here, just history repeating. Granted, we might have sped up the process but it's happening nevertheless.

I would hardly call that strange. Well, at least not for Britain or other places.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'm talking about. You say matter of factly that climate change isn't man made, what evidence do you have apart from some drivel written in the Daily Mail? Read a serious scientific paper written by a respected Scientist and chances are they will disagree with you.

Just because a scientist wrote it, doesn't make it right.

And I struggle to understand why your trying to disagree with History, which scientists also have backed up? Crazy person :S

I have to believe in it, here's an example I heard somewhere previously..

We believe in something for e.g Russia because everyone speaks of it. Only cause you think it's there by others telling you, what happens if maybe the millions and millions have been brainwashed into telling people what Russia is. We simply do not know if something is real by hearing something. But we automatically agree if a lot of people mention it?

There was an interesting Guardian article once about how Scientists over-exadurate(mind the spelling) climate change (and they had solid proof) but it does exist.

It isn't man made. It's the earth's natural cycle. Like I said, we probably do contribute a lot to it. But just think, the ice age(s), they thawed, yes? Climate. Change.

"Climate change" in the modern vernacular is synonymous with "Global warming", the term used to describe man made change to the earths climate.
