Oh my!
I never knew this was possible. What they've done is got this thin and sturdy piece of film that can curl and etc.
Not too sure what it'd be used for.

Old news. Can be used for TVs that can be portable or whatever, even computer monitors.

Would be cool to see something like a rollable ipad next :L Would be great to fit in bags and stuff..

I just watched a video with someone who has a hammer comparing the durability of the screens. The glass one cracked ofc but the rollable oled which isn't made for crystal display, simply had no visible damage.

It is genius, but what are the REAL everyday applications going to be?
Many other materials in portable objects such as phones are not flexible to that standard, so I cannot see where this OLED will be of much use?

Portable 60 inch 1080p HD TV? It'd be like carrying a wrapped up poster around XD
