I think you rushed into to many things, and didn't give yourself enough planning time.

Let me give you some advice.

Brainstorm -> Plan -> Execute -> Test -> Release

It's very simple. I can go more in depth, but I'll leave it to you as homework to figure out where to go next from there.

Actually, it's about who you know in general - not just amateur development. Politics is a global game.

Most I can say is this.

You have Candidate A with Masters in Computer Science.
You have Candidate B with Masters in Computer Science.
Candidate B is good friends with VP of Software Development.

Candidate B Scores the Job.

With the way things are now a days... The who you know part is taking over.

Get back on topic. Surely Mr. Backseat Moderation himself should be on topic at all times.

I'm disappointed.

Wow, so I hear this got pretty bad.

Hey, I'm sorry for causing problems. This was more of a clarification then anything.. but I guess that didn't really work out. o_o

Thanks for the advice for those who said, and for the others.. I can't really respond as it wasn't a direct comment/question!

Good luck with your project "red". I can see this going far if you take it the right way.

I can only wish you the best of lucks with this, I only hope at least some mmoccs would actually release some of the product.

Thank you.

So as you've heard the company Aupra and Visionire Studios currently merged. I know a few of you weren't happy about the whole "you're partners with Johnathon Fowler" thing but I really enjoy working with him. I don't see any problems arising.

So we're still moving forward with the game, we hope to have a BETA very shortly. I've set up a Skype for the company as well as a website (for my own company).

A bit of an explanation on SkullWork Studios:

When registering Aupra Canada LTD there were some legal problems with registering the name. So I've decided to change the name to SkullWork Studios and further it on from there. SkullWork Studios has only it's hands involved with Visionire and does not really partner with it, but on the same sense I'll be doing my own thing with it.. so stay tuned.

Hit me up on Skype if you've got one and have any question or email me.. your choice.

Oh, and thanks for reading. Any questions feel free to post.

Thanks,
Red.

I don't fully understand? If you merged then you would be partnered?

Just a little heads up. MMOCC Forum offers all MMO's the chance to purchase their own sub-forum, so your MMO can have a personal category to put your updates in.

Not only does it give you your own personal space, it allows the members to view all your MMO relevant threads in one section without going on a scavenger hunt to find something.

You can learn more about it by clicking, here.

With that being said, good luck with Skullwork Studios, Visionire, and Aupra. I hope all works out well, and keep us all updated on your progress.

So is the client Visionire's or is the client going to be yours?
I'm really confused, sorry.

To clarify things, I own 50% of Visionire Studios along with John, so it will be both of us producing the game.

SkullWork's going to be my own little.. company. Of what? Most likely social networking. But other then that.. yeah.

Well just make sure you're evenly paying for things with Johnathan, he has a reputation at the moment for not paying his own way.
