[WIP] Pixel Art

This is the first time I have ever attempted pixel art.
I understand that my shading is going to be messed, in the wrong places, and there is going to be a hell of a lot to improve. But that's why I'm posting, so you guys can give me tips and things to improve, as this is the first time I have ever done it. Cheers

It's nothing big I know that, but it's a start.

Fix the smile. it's creepy. It's a good thing you know what you already need to work on. Also people have five fingers It's not a bad start. Work on the shading. Also the skin should be a different shade. Unless you want a pale person.

I have a PNG and a Jpeg copy.
Thank's for the comments. It'd be good if I knew how to shade correctly, so if you could point me in the correct direction of a tutorial. That would be great.
