Yeah, all discoveries which could help man are frowned upon by religious groups and experiments by scientists to find new things are frowned upon by man (when in danger) and usually religious groups.

Its exploration, the reason it is being worked on so hard is so that there will not be any faults.

I can't wait to see the result. Hopefully it will prove the big bang theory, thus helping Hawking and co realise the theory of everything.

And the theory of everything proves that no superior being created us. (Thats why religious people are against it )

If we want to advance in science, we have to take risks. If it wasn't for risk, we wouldn't have half of the things we do now.

Relgious people are against it as it could in theory compltely disprove every single relgion
