I'm still confused as to why "Moderator" is not an option on the application page. It must be a mistake. Also how long will the applications be open?

BittyBay Moderators are trained individuals who enforce the rules and assist in maintaining a safe and positive virtual environment. Moderators are responsible for attending to situations that disrupt a player's experience, providing guidance and support for new players, monitoring player chat and behaviour, and the satisfaction of each player in terms of safety and service. Moderators report to the Moderation Manager and are scheduled for weekly moderation shifts; moderators must have good availabilities in order to fulfill monthly requirements. This position is very demanding and is considered one of the most important due to the amount of interaction between moderator and player.

Potential candidates must possess the following skills:

Internet and computer savvy;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to work in a team;
Immaculate spelling, grammar and punctuation;
Fair and impartial;
Knowledge of client capabilities;
Ability to cope with stressful situations;
Willingness to work and find solutions;
Previous customer service experience;
Good weekly availability;
Ability to communicate positively with users.

Other important position requirements:

16+ years of age;
Valid identification (driver's licence/birth certificate etc.);
Non-Disclosure Agreement must be signed;
Employment duration must be at least one month;

Just taking a look at the application page and it doesn't have an option for moderation o.O

I really want to apply. I'm currently asking if I can apply, and I'll submit my information, just like eliminate the age Limit >

I'd apply, but the age would have to be waived.

Considering the reason they probably put it in place is probably because it would be illegal to do otherwise, I don't think they will make any exceptions.

They are pretty well established so i doubt they will get desperate enough for people that they will lower the age bracket.

Sorry, kids. We will not be lowering the requirements for anyone. If you don't qualify, your application will be deleted.

Hate to sound mean, but don't waste your time.

I think making the age 16+ is not a smart idea at all for moderators. I think leave it at 17 or even put it to 18. Teenagers will not want to play a game where they feel their reputation is being put down by other teenagers of their age.

It isn't professional, and 16 year olds can honestly not make such wise decisions like an 18+ year old can.

I think 16 is fine. I don't want to wait too long until I can apply!

But, in all seriousness, I agree with you in some ways. 17 - 18 is probably better suited. But, there are very mature 16 year olds, and I doubt many people would know their age. Meh.
