Tropica Ville

Well Tropica is a unique name, used by a MMOCC with a bigger audience than you. You obviously didn't think, because Club Tropica's audience will laugh at you. That's probably the truth. Your MMOCC name is basically your brand, the quality of CT is excellent, you've basically created yourself more competition than first needed.

You honestly do need to change the name. It sounds like a CT copy that some kid put together, because he is tired of paying for stuff.

Other then that I think we all need to see something, graphics, a website, or a piece of the client, before we can have any faith in this project.

This project should be a huge success!

To be entirely honest, I do agree with a lot of what has been said. Your name, and subsequent branding is extremely important. If you've got the name totally wrong, then nobody is going to even bother to register. But choosing a name so close to another game in the same market will just make things even more difficult for you. People will instantly compare your products, you can't say it won't happen, just read this thread. It also makes it more difficult for your customers to disinguish your product, the may get it confused with 'that other game'. Lastly, it also make it more difficult for your potential users to find you using a search engine, since you have direct competition from Club Tropica.
